New role at PDMS for Richard Graham

News Published on 23 June 2022

We are delighted to announce that Richard Graham has been appointed Head of New Business for Scotland.

In this newly created role, Richard will work with the senior leadership team to identify strategic opportunities in Scotland to promote the business transformation and expertise of PDMS.

The move comes as the company looks to build on its reputation as an established software development company in Scotland after a year of continued growth for both employees and clients.

Richard will be a familiar face to some of our clients, having worked for PDMS in Glasgow for many years. Back in 2013, Richard was one of the first PDMS staff in Scotland and was part of the initial team who set up the Glasgow office. As a result, he has seen first-hand the growth in the region over the past decade. Before accepting his new role, he led our SignedUp Skills solution, an innovative online skills portal that is used extensively across England.

As Head of New Business for Scotland, Richard will be responsible for bolstering the company's Scottish presence forging partnerships across local industries, communities and sectors, as well as driving digital transformation improvements to our existing client base in Scotland.

About his new role at PDMS, Richard said:

‘PDMS’ vision is to pursue a future where technology always delivers the best outcomes for people and business. Scotland is full of public and private sector organisations that share in our vision and that is one of the reasons why I am so looking forward to playing a leading role in growing our business here. We have great people, great expertise, and a great track record and I fully expect us to become a leading provider of digital transformation services in Scotland in the coming years.’

Catriona Watt, Chief Commercial Officer added:

Scotland is a key area of growth for PDMS and Richard’s new position will play a key role in this. With the experience Richard has gained since he started PDMS in 2013, he will be well-placed to advise potential clients on how partnering with PDMS will help their business. We’re proud that we already work with some great public and private sector organisations in Scotland and are looking forward to working with new clients as we grow.

PDMS has a long track record in Scotland - working with a range of clients including Skills Development Scotland, Shetland Islands Council, Transport Scotland, Fife Council and McAlpine.

Our Glasgow-based team has doubled in size over the past eighteen months and covers a wide range of digital skills from business and testing analysts through to software developers and project managers.
