Delivering high-quality software to our clients is a top priority for us and our Software Tester apprenticeship allows you to be involved in putting our software through its paces. It’s a unique 2-year programme covering everything you need to know about testing in a professional software services environment.
Testing is a vital part of the software development lifecycle, ensuring that our software doesn’t break or work incorrectly for our clients. Throughout the apprenticeship you’ll learn how we develop and then rigorously test high quality systems for our wide-ranging client base. Each bespoke software solution will be tested to its limits, and you’ll be exposed to an array of technologies and methodologies to do so.
It’s a hands-on, practical apprenticeship where you’ll develop the skills and experience you need for a successful career in software testing and beyond.

If testing things to their limit is your passion- then this apprenticeship is absolutely for you. As an apprentice tester you will be involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle. Creating quality software is at the heart of PDMS and you will gain hands on experience, thoroughly testing systems to ensure they are robust for our clients and provide a great user experience.
You’ll be a part of a working project team and get involved with real world development projects for our clients. Our software testing apprenticeship gives you variety like nowhere else – you’ll gain an insight into a variety of projects and be involved in testing solutions for a wide range of industries and users. You’ll work alongside other project team members such as Developers, Business Analysts, UX Designers and Project Managers which will give you a great insight into the whole Software Development Lifecycle.
Finally, and most importantly, alongside your studies you will be mentored by a team of highly skilled dedicated Testing colleagues, who will be eager to help you learn.
