Our Software Development apprenticeship gives you direct access to the best in the business. It’s a 2-year programme covering everything you need to know about developing in a professional software services environment.
You’ll learn how we develop and support high-quality systems for our wide-ranging client base, through the design and creation of bespoke software solutions using a variety of technologies.
It’s a hands-on, practical apprenticeship where you’ll develop the skills and experience you need for a successful career in software development.

If coding is your thing and it really gives you a buzz- then this apprenticeship is for you. As an apprentice developer you will be involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle. Software development is core to PDMS, and you will gain hands on experience, developing and supporting systems using primarily C#, HTML, CSS, SQL, Javascript and Angular.
You’ll be a part of a working project team and get involved with real world development for our clients. Our software development apprenticeship gives you variety like nowhere else – you’ll gain an insight into a variety of projects and be involved in developing solutions for a wide range of industries. You’ll work alongside other project team members such as Business Analysts, Testers, UX Designers and Project Managers which will give you a great insight into the whole Software Development Lifecycle.
Finally, and most importantly, alongside your studies you will be mentored by a team of highly skilled developer colleagues, who will be eager to help you learn.
