PDMS expands its growing operation in Scotland

News Published on 03 April 2023

PDMS has already celebrated two significant milestones in 2023; we had our 30th anniversary and hit our recruitment target by significantly growing our team based in Scotland.

Charlotte Cain, Head of People and Culture, said:

It has been great to welcome our new recruits into our Scottish workforce. They are already adding value to our clients, which is helping us to grow our client base and increase our impact on projects in Scotland and further afield.

Claire Welsh joined PDMS as a Business Analyst, Sander MacConnacher as an Infrastructure Engineer, Fraser McClure was appointed Bid Manager, Ian McNeish joined as a Solution Architect, Arcelio Goncalves as a Lead Developer and Tersia Christoforos as a UX Designer.

Claire’s role as a Business Analyst focuses on agile working, business change and continual improvement. She has a wealth of experience in the public sector having worked in the police, defence and energy sectors. Claire is currently working on client and internal projects with a focus on the Discovery process – working with multiple stakeholders to understand user requirements and clarify project goals.

Sander is an experienced Infrastructure Engineer, with expertise in providing frontline support both to internal and external parties. He joins our Infrastructure team to ensure that we continue to provide secure and high availability hosting and business continuity services for our customers and our wider business.

Fraser joined PDMS in a newly created role as a Bid Manager, working closely with the Business Development team.  With a strong track record in the public sector in Scotland, the UK and in overseas jurisdictions, the team at PDMS are frequently working on pulling together high quality bids and proposals.  Fraser has over 10 years’ experience working in bid management and now oversees the submission of all PDMS proposals and tenders.

Our newest recruit is Ian McNeish, an experienced Developer who joins us as a Solution Architect. In his role, he is responsible for collaborating with our analysts, designers and project managers, drawing on his extensive knowledge to lead on system architecture, design and development.

Arcelio Goncalves has over 14 years of software development experience and has taken on the role of Lead Developer, working on new and existing software development for one of PDMS’ longest standing clients.

Tersia moved to Scotland from South Africa, bringing with her over 15 years of experience, covering branding, storytelling, graphic and digital design.  She joins PDMS’ growing and busy Design Team as a UX Designer, focusing on delivering people-focused designs to our global clients.

As we reach our 30th anniversary and approach a significant milestone of 100 employees, these appointments are important in further strengthening our team and the great service we provide to our clients.
