New flood website launched to help keep Isle of Man community updated

News Published on 22 March 2021

PDMS were delighted to collaborate with the newly formed ‘Flood Management Division’ on a brand-new website.

The website provides a central resource for the local community to access the latest information relating to the Island’s flood risk management and coastal risks. People can also report flooding, sign-up to receive Everbridge Mass Notifications and view the latest flood risk maps. The website content is updated by members of the Department of Infrastructure, Manx Utilities and the Met Office.

The website has been designed and built by our talented development team and uses the latest Umbraco technologies for the content management system. In addition to building the website, our Design team created a brand identity for the Flood Management Division including a logo, font, colour palette and image library.

Jim Rawson, Design Manager, added:

"Designing and building a new website for the Flood Management Division was a great project to be involved with. The team were very engaged and easy to work with and we look forward to collaborating with the Flood Management Division in the future."
