Garscube Harriers get up and running with new website

PDMS has been working with Garscube Harriers to revitalise the Scottish running club’s online presence by sponsoring the design and development of their new website.

About Garscube Harriers

Garscube Harriers is based in the north-west of Glasgow and has a long heritage going back to 1898.  With an emphasis on cross-country and road running, club members regularly compete at events throughout the world with both junior and senior athletes representing Great Britain.

With many of the team at PDMS being active runners and outdoor enthusiasts, the partnership with Garscube made natural sense. A long-distance runner himself, David Stickland, PDMS Scotland Director, is keen for PDMS to support the local community in Glasgow. David’s adventurous family, including his son and wife Diane, regularly get involved in local running and sporting events.

Brand new website

As part of our sponsorship of the running club, PDMS has designed and built a new Garscube Harriers website (www.garscubeharriers.org.uk), showcasing the club’s sporting events and helping to inspire the next generation of runners.

The website features details of training sessions, forthcoming events and a gallery of photos with action shots from past events. Optimised to be mobile-friendly, the site is easy for club members to update and check latest notifications on the move. Garscube will be hosting their official launch event for the club mid-August 2016.

In addition to supporting the Garscube Harriers, PDMS also sponsors the Hawick Rugby team in Scotland and the Isle of Man’s Southern Nomads Rugby team.
