Our Commercial Director, David Stickland, with his team of cyclists is taking on an impressive challenge in Mallorca for the Breast Cancer Care charity.

This year David Stickland decided to put his passion for cycling to good use, and take on an exciting challenge, whilst raising funds for Breast Cancer Care.  He’s taken a break from his role as Commercial Director here at PDMS, and flown to Mallorca with his enthusiastic team of cyclists to ride on some of the Island’s most demanding roads. The challenge will incorporate 180km of hills and undulating terrain for almost three days.

Now, whilst it might sound like fun, we should remember they’re not cycling in cool British weather, in fact they’re experiencing high temperatures in Mallorcan sun, at the same time climbing 3,283m of relentless mountainous roads!  Impressive?  Perhaps, but definitely worth the £3,000 they have raised for this brilliant charity.

Breast Cancer Care is a UK wide charity, offering support to people affected by breast cancer, by using their understanding of the emotional and practical issues facing people, alongside clinical expertise.  They believe this will help make lifechanging differences to more people affected by the disease.
