Last month on the 18th June, PDMS's Chris and Gemma accompanied the Isle of Man Government's Department of Economic Development to the International Festival for Business in Liverpool.

The aim of the the International Festival for Business event was to showcase the Isle of Man as a leading International Business Centre at the 'Employability and Skills Breakfast' as part of the Government's 'Where you Can Intitative'.

The event, which was opened by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Erica Kemp attracted businesses, community leaders and employability, education and skills providers.

As one of the key speakers of the event, PDMS presented the employed.im platform to delegates as an example of how public, private and third sector collaboration is improving the employability and skills of the Isle of Man population.

Employed.im is the Isle of Man's only free jobs and careers portal, connecting employers and training providers with students, job seekers and job changers.

Delegates also had the opportunity to network and ask questions to the PDMS panel.
