PDMS continues to grow with four new starters

PDMS is pleased to announce the appointment of four new recruits joining our Isle of Man team. 

Alistair Cubbon-Wood has been appointed as an Account Manager to work alongside our clients in the Isle of Man, UK and globally. As well as solidifying relationships and becoming the primary contact, Alistair will be responsible for deepening our understanding of our clients’ businesses to identify where PDMS can continue to add value.

About his appointment, Alistair said:

"I am proud to have joined the team at PDMS - they have a brilliant reputation within the Isle of Man and further afield. I'm looking forward to getting out and meeting our clients both old and new."  

Neal Champion joins as our Operations Manager and is responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of PDMS' working patterns and practices. Neal has extensive experience in the software industry, including working as a developer through to a solutions architect for some household names including Sky and Microsoft. 

Neal said:

“It has been really refreshing to be working for a small and dynamic software house. Everyone has been really welcoming and interested in my 'fresh eyes' perspective." 

George Stephenson has been appointed as a Developer and will be working on a variety of our .NET applications. George relocated to the Isle of Man in 2019, prior to this he worked as a Developer in the energy sector in the UK.

About his appointment, George said:

"My first few weeks at PDMS have been very enjoyable and I am enjoying the variety of projects that I have been involved with so far." 

Helen Hillier began working for PDMS in December 2019 as our Community & Skills Services Co-ordinator for employed.im. She helps support and encourage more interaction between the Island’s students and their prospective employers. Helen holds a Level 6 qualification in Career Guidance and Development and most recently working as a Career Advisor in Leicestershire before relocating to the Isle of Man in 2019.

Helen said:

"I’m really excited about my new role with the team at PDMS. It’s a great opportunity for me to use my experience in career guidance alongside the great services offered by PDMS that support young people by bridging the gap between education and the workplace.“

Chris Gledhill, PDMS CEO, commented:

“We are delighted to welcome four great new additions to the team at PDMS. With these latest appointments, they bring a combination of technical expertise with a customer focus. These appointments start 2020 on a high for PDMS and I am looking forward to seeing what else the rest of the year brings.”
