Meet former Apprentice turned Junior Developer, Isaac Heaton

We caught up with Junior Developer, Isaac Heaton, to discuss his apprenticeship and how his career path has evolved from there.

What has been your career journey at PDMS?

I started at PDMS as an Apprentice Software Developer, working at PDMS four days a week and one day a week at UCM. When I completed my apprenticeship in 2021, I was offered a permanent position as a Junior Developer. 

How old were you when you joined PDMS?

I was 20 years old when I joined PDMS.

How did you join PDMS?

Via the apprenticeship programme that I am on,  I attended a 'speed interview.' The basis for a speed interview is you have a short time with various companies and if you both like each other, then a second interview takes place. 

What qualifications do you need to do your job?

I had an A-Level in Computer Science.
