Lorna is our Community & Skills Services Manager and is responsible for developing careers and skills services on the Isle of Man as well as looking at new ways for PDMS technology to support the wider and often more vulnerable members of society, for example, First Point Community Portal.

Lorna joined PDMS in 2015 and has vast experience in working in the third and private sectors.  She is passionate about supporting the Isle of Man’s young people in using different educational routes to secure meaningful careers.  Lorna plays active roles in both the business and charitable communities which includes being Deputy Chair of the Employment & Skills Committee at the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce and also chairing the working group of the Compassionate Isle of Man initiative, run through Hospice Isle of Man.

In her spare time, Lorna can be found out running, walking with her dog (and her husband!) or sitting quietly working on her next craft creation.  She holds an MBA focused on Executive Leadership and a degree from St David’s University College Lampeter (University of Wales).
