Andy is our Head of Engineering and he is responsible for managing and supporting the Engineering team as well as overseeing our technology offering to ensure we are continually providing the highest standards of solutions.
Andy's love for technology began at an early age and he has been able to carry this passion through into a career in computing and software across a range of sectors including finance, digital, telecommunications and more. The majority of his career has been as a freelance consultant providing hands-on coding, design and technical guidance in organisations such as the Ministry of Defence, Companies House and Tribal Worldwide. Most recently, he was Head of Technology at an IOM fintech start-up before moving to PDMS in 2023.
In his spare time, Andy enjoys reading sci-fi and socialising, and if not found at home with his two cats, can often be found in a sunny Laxey beer garden enjoying the friendly atmosphere with his wife. He is also a big movie fan and felt incredibly lucky, in his teen years, to have worked as a projectionist in the historic Kinema in the Woods, Woodhall Spa where he also secured his first paid contract delivering a ticket booking system.
