Emma holds a BSc (hons) in Web and Multimedia from University of Central Lancashire, which provided her with insight into web and multimedia design, 2D and 3D graphic design, website design, usability, AV systems and computer programming.
After graduating from university, Emma gained a wealth of experience in a variety of roles in the IT industry, including Systems Analyst, Senior Test Analyst and Test Lead, Technical Specialist, Sales Co-ordinator, Helpdesk Co-ordinator and Hardware Contracts Manager. Emma now has close to 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, with the last 10 spent in Analysis and Testing. Emma has studied with the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB), gaining certification in Foundation in Business Analysis, Foundation in Software Testing, Advanced Test Analysis, Advanced Technical Test Analysis and Advanced Test Management.
Emma was promoted to Lead Analyst for the Transport & Ticketing team in PDMS, Emma is involved in the entire project lifecycle from pre-sales to post-go-live support. Emma works closely with developers and a variety of end users to produce innovative solutions to complex problems which ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction. Emma’s role further encompasses testing, producing system documentation, investigating defects and providing training to users on new systems.
