Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electronic and Software Engineering from The University of Birmingham and has over 20 years’ experience as a software engineer. Chris is also a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (Web Developer 4).

Prior to joining PDMS, Chris gained extensive experience through a range of different software development roles. After joining PDMS as a Lead Deverloper in 2009, Chris' role has involved software development, technical analysis and design, as well as client liaison on technical matters.

Chris has worked on a wide range of PDMS’ projects, including the Isle of Man Government Training Services & Work Permits system, the Manx Gas Natural Gas Conversion Project and Manx Telecom’s Real Time Data Charging for Pre-pay mobile project.

More recently Chris has contributed significantly to PDMS Maritime’s MARIS platform through systems for the Isle of Man Ship Registry, Maritime Authority of the Cayman Islands, Maritime Cook Islands, as well as the Isle of Man Government’s Companies Registry.

In his spare time Chris enjoys spending time with his family, walking and camping. When he has a moment to myself Chris pursues his interest in electronics and computing– mostly taking things to pieces to understand how they work!
