Bruce joined PDMS in 1993 and in the early days worked on a wide range of PC based application developments. With a keen eye for "what looks good" Bruce developed an interest in the Internet and imaging technologies. In particular Bruce was involved with the formation and ongoing development of the Isle of Man Government website and took over the overall management of this and other large web development projects.
Bruce graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BSc (Hons.) in Marine Biology in 1987 and a PhD (1991). Immediately after his PhD he co-wrote and published his own book. During this process he gained experience in graphic design and DTP as well as content management.
Having gained experience in managing both web and bespoke software development projects, Bruce then went on to take on the role of Projects Director and was responsible for the development and improvement of PDMS' development resources with the implementation of an efficient and scalable project-driven management structure. He then went on to set up and lead a bid management team to help spearhead PDMS' business development activities in the public sector. These activities were further bolstered by PDMS' success in becoming a Buying Solutions supplier (between 2005 and 2009) for Application Development services.
Bruce now focuses on business development activities for a number of our solutions including MARIS registry solutions and also the account management of our strategic partnerships.
