PDMS to support The Children's Centre in Race to the Sun

PDMS has fielded a team in 2015's Race to the Sun, raising money in support of the Children's Centre. The team competed in 10 relayed sections over the 100 mile circumference of the Island, starting at dawn and finishing as the sun set. Race to the Sun takes in scenery and wildlife from the Islands inspiring coastal footpath - this year in perfect warm, light and occasionally overcast conditions.

Requiring physical stamina and teamwork, PDMS' team thoroughly came together in support of each other - and it was a terrific event for the Island's community. Particular commendation goes to Lewis Veale, the Team's Leader, and Alistair Elloit who both achieved 7th overall on their legs (with Lewis starting at 05:02am to do it!).

All money raised goes directly to supporting the extremely worthwhile work that The Children's Centre does for children and families on the Isle of Man. Founded in 1868 by Henry Bloom Noble, the Children's Centre develops, manages, and pioneers a variety of community initiatives and services aimed at enabling children.
