The company says its component-based software meets the demands of the police for flexible systems based on open data standards. PDMS used the UK’s largest police event to showcase its latest project, a crime, lost and found and property management system. This web-based system is currently undergoing testing by the West Midlands police authority. Also on exhibit was a new ‘foundations’ software development platform which PDMS said is particularly suitable for the browser-based applications being more widely used by the police.
