Steve Callaghan

Project Manager

Steve is an accomplished Project Manager with over fifteen years experience in the IT industry. After completing a degree in computer studies he spent several years in different programmer and analyst roles before relocating to the Isle of Man to take up an IT position within the financial services sector. During this time he gained further skills and experience in business requirement specifications, software testing and quality assurance, particularly in relation to development standards.

Steve has spent the last five years working as a Senior Consultant for a software company where he was also responsible for managing several large client projects and project teams. He also oversaw the development of internal product developments involving new technologies such as SMS.

Steve has joined the PDMS project management team and has taken on a diverse portfolio of clients including the Joint Nature Conservation Committee, the NHS and Jack Sealey.

John Carpenter

Senior Developer

John joined PDMS over four years ago as a developer and is now a member of the PDMS Senior Developer Team. He has specific responsibility for leading the web development team and is an experienced web developer himself, working with technologies including XML, XSL, HTML and Javascript. John works closely, not only with his technical team members, but also with the Project Managers to schedule resources, agree and plan project work and provide technical guidance and input as required. Another important part of John's role is the mentoring of other developers.

During the past year John has spent a large amount of time working on different projects for the Isle of Man Government. The most significant of these has been the successful development and implementation of the new framework for the Isle of Man Government website. John's team, working closely with their Project Manager Meryl Batchelder and the Isle of Man Government, have developed the XML based framework giving the Government full control over their web page content.

Graham Lane

Infrastructure Manager

Graham has recently joined PDMS to manage the company's internal IT systems and infrastructure. As the company continues to grow in size, the development and support of both our internal systems including network performance and security and our hosting environment is of paramount importance.

Graham joins PDMS from a law firm where he was responsible for the day to day running of the group's IT systems including hardware, software and security. Prior to this he spent several years working as a self-employed consultant offering network consultancy services to local businesses. The projects he was involved in covered a wide spectrum of networking expertise from the design of systems through to their installation and fault diagnosis.

Graham is very well qualified and holds a number of Microsoft qualifications including that of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and he is also currently studying for Cisco CCNA qualifications.

Kerry Stewart

Accounts Manager

As Accounts Manager, Kerry is responsible for the day to day management of all accounting and financial functions within PDMS. In addition to dealing with client and supplier accounts, she also prepares all of the company's financial reports and annual accounts. Kerry's knowledge and experience of accounting procedures are being put to good use in our internal product development process. She is currently working closely with one of our development teams who are designing a new accounts module for our integrated business system known as IBIS.

Kerry joined PDMS in 2000 after completing a degree in Mathematics with Financial Management and Accounting at the University of Sheffield and gaining two years experience in the Accounts Department of a large local organisation. She is currently studying for the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts examinations to become a qualified management accountant.

Kerry has recently returned to PDMS after a nine month sabbatical during which she travelled extensively visiting South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras.
