Sports woman of the year award for PDMS sponsored Snowboardcross rider Zoë Gillings

Zoë Gillings was named Isle of Man Sports Woman of the year at a recent awards ceremony held in the Isle of Man. Snowboardcrosser Zoe was recognised for her successes in the World Championship. She finished fourth in the recently ended 2004-5 world championship, having won a round in Chile.

Zoë is one of the most promising young snowboardcross riders Great Britain has ever seen and PDMS are pleased to support her in her quest to qualify for the 2006 Turin Olympics. Zoë, currently the British No 1 snowboardcross rider, is a local girl with big ambitions and has been competing in snowboarding events for the last 8 years.

Zoë has a connection with PDMS through her brother Liam, one of our software developers, and we were pleased to have the opportunity to develop and host her website www.zoe.org.im. The website features a diary section updated by Zoë on a regular basis, a photo gallery, details of race schedules and results and video footage of Zoë in action
