PDMS sponsor the Isle of Man Karate Championships

The Isle of Man Karate Championships (TOTAL WAR) sponsored by PDMS, will be taking place on Sunday 6th August at the NSC. The event, organised by the Isle of Man Shukokai Karate team, looks like being the biggest and most successful karate event to be held on the Island. The Championships have attracted interest from martial arts competitors all over the UK, with over 200 people expected to attend on Sunday.

Competitors of all ages and levels will be competing in a wide range of events including, FIGHTING / FREESTYLE / WEAPONS / UNARMED COMBAT / MUSICAL FORMS ETC with over 66 events for male / female boys and girls.

Anyone wishing to enter the event can enrol on the day before 9.00am.

Spectators are welcome to come along and see the most spectacular martial arts event ever to be seen on the Isle of Man

Sir Norman Wisdom will be opening the Championships which will start at 9-30 a.m.

The Isle of Man Shukokai Karate Club have an outstanding track record, with club members recently winning medals in the British Karate Championships and also participating in the World Championship.
